WordPress connection test fails
WordPress connections require specific credentials that differ from your regular login.
How to fix
1.Use your root WordPress site URL (e.g.,
https://yoursite.com, not https://yoursite.com/wp-admin).2.Use a valid WordPress username (not an email address).
3.Generate an Application Password in WordPress: go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords.
4.Copy the generated password (including spaces) and paste it into Techne's WordPress settings.
5.Test the connection.
Note: Regular WordPress passwords will not work — you must use an Application Password.
